Markland Wood Golf Club is nestled along the Etobicoke Creek and provides a beautiful backdrop to its new residence, 8 honey bee colonies. 

As a certified Audubon Sanctuary, Markland Wood Golf Club has partnered with Toronto Bee Rescue to initiate a honeybee project. Along with the honey bees on site, the club has planted pollinator gardens to support all native pollinators. 

The honey from the Markland hives is harvested seasonally and sold through the Club to its members and guests.
