Toronto Bee Rescue is inspected by the Provincial Apiarist and is a registered Nuc producer with OMAFRA. 

Our bees are gentle, healthy, and great honey producers. We only sell bees that we would keep ourselves. 

When you pick up your nucs, you are responsible for securing the bees during transportation including sealing and containing the bees. 

If bees are to be transported in the bed of a truck, they must be securely strapped down. They can also be transported in the main cab of a car or the trunk of a van or hatchback. It is not recommended to transport in the trunk of a sedan as the bees can easily overheat. If transported inside your car, it is recommended to have a mesh net, to avoid any escaped bees from flying around your car. 

We are not responsible for the health of the bees once they leave our property. The biggest risk is the bees overheating. Please ensure that the bees are provided proper ventilation and kept cool while transporting. 

Nuc boxes are not a permanent home for the bees. Your bees should be transferred into appropriate sized hive boxes as soon as they reach your property.
